Paul Gordon, Welcome!

Paul Gordon

Paul, welcome to the team! Tell us a bit about yourself.

Thank you, I am glad to be a part of the team. About myself, I was brought up in Northampton but am originally from Edinburgh (the reason for the twang in my accent when I talk to Scottish people). I have a passion for design and I am a father of two little rascals who keep me grounded and on my toes.

What is your job with us at All Things Management?

My job is to work with businesses who want to increase their marketing capacity and capabilities. This can range from clients who are in need of help or direction with their complete marketing strategy and need assistance building their digital marketing campaigns, analytics & automation from the ground up. To teams that already have great strategies in place and need All things management to help execute their plan. Every client’s wants and needs are different and with the team of superstars here at our disposal we can tailor our skill sets and services to help them achieve their strategic goals!

Why have you joined the ‘Superstars’ at All Things Management?

After spending the last three years all over the country and nearly a year working from home over lockdown, it made me question what was important in my life, I felt like I needed to fuel my fire. For me, the way to do this was to enjoy what I do, collaborate with other like minded, creative individuals and to challenge myself again. So, I followed my heart and after a few conversations with Ben, I had bought into his vision at All Things Management and couldn’t wait to become a part of his young, dynamic team!

How will you make an impact on the team?

I believe with my 10+ years experience (I wont say how many as I’m starting to feel old) I have a breadth of knowledge which will be an asset to the team. I am hands on, I love to get stuck into projects and hopefully I can lead by example and help the business as well as individuals grow.

We hear you have a knack hand on the Pizza Hut pizza oven, but what else will you bring to the table?

My pizza cutting skills are delightful but I am not sure how much use that will be now. I’ll be bringing with me my enthusiasm, positivity and a random taste in music. So plenty of hip hop bangers, random alternative tunes and a splash of RnB to torment the ears of the office.

So, Paul, other than impersonating Connor McGregor, what else do you do in your spare time?

Hahahaha you swines! I have a few things that occupy my spare time. I am a massive fan of Whisky and once this lock down is over I’d love to do more tours of the islands! I spend most of my spare time either in the gym or watching arsenal ruin my weekends and have started teaching myself guitar (albeit badly) during lockdown.

If you had a dinner party with 3 people, dead or alive, who would they be?

Jlo – It’s a must to have some talent at the table. She can sing and dance at the drop of a hat… you’ll need that for after the meal.
Dennis Bergkamp – as he’s my sporting hero, I would love to hear more about his career and his thought processes regarding every move and pass he made on the football pitch. The man is a pure genius!
Prince – A musical legend. Hopefully he could teach me how to shred the solo in purple rain!

Thank you Paul, we can’t wait to see what you will bring to the table this year and beyond.
